KaPickle

Privacy

Short version: it keeps your name, your games and your scores. Nothing else, and nothing is sold.

What is stored
  • Your account: email and display name. This is the same account used by KaBingo and KaLaro.
  • Your groups, the rosters in them, and the level given to each player.
  • Sessions, rounds, matches, scores and the resulting standings.
  • Who recorded which score, so a wrong one can be traced and fixed.
Guest players

A guest is only a name and a level, entered by an organizer. There is no email, no phone number and no account behind it. If a guest later makes an account they can claim their name and take over their own record.

Who can see it

Rosters, sessions and results are visible to members of that group. If an organizer turns on the live link for a session, anyone with that link can see the scores and standings of that one session, read only. No email address is ever shown to other players.

What is not done

No advertising, no analytics profiles, and no selling or sharing of data with anyone. There are no third-party trackers in the app.

Where it lives

Data is stored in a Supabase project (hosted on AWS in Singapore) shared with the sister apps KaBingo and KaLaro. The site itself is served by Cloudflare Pages.

Deleting things

An organizer can remove a player from a group. A player who has already played is archived rather than deleted, so past results stay correct. To have your account removed entirely, ask the admin.
